Talking about high temperature and moisture proof NTC thermistor

The main features of NTC thermistors are high temperature sensitivity, small thermal inertia, long life, small size, simple structure, and can be made into various shapes and structures. It is mainly used in various temperature detection, temperature compensation, and temperature control circuits, and it plays the core role of converting temperature variables into required electronic signals in the circuit. With the continuous development of society, this component has been widely used, such as temperature measurement, temperature control, temperature compensation, liquid level measurement, air pressure measurement, fire alarm, meteorological sounding, switching circuit, overload protection, pulsating voltage suppression , time delay, stable amplitude, automatic gain adjustment, microwave and laser power measurement, and more. Due to the wide range of applications, NTC thermistors are required to be suitable for use in various environments, especially in humid and high temperature environments.
High temperature and moisture proof NTC thermistor, the NTC thermistor has good high temperature and moisture resistance, it can work normally in a humid environment up to 250°C for a long time, and its mechanical strength is better than that of glass encapsulated thermistors.

The following is the production process of high temperature and moisture proof NTC thermistor (as shown in Figure 3)


(1) at first, the NTC thermal chip 1 is welded on two leads 2 by high temperature solder;
(2) Next, encapsulate the first encapsulation layer 3 at the periphery of the NTC thermal chip 1 and the welding point of the lead 2, that is, encapsulate with high temperature resistant silica gel;
(3) Then, encapsulate the second encapsulation layer 4 in turn, that is, encapsulate with silicone resin;
(4) encapsulate the third layer of encapsulation layer 5 on the surface of the encapsulation head of the second encapsulation layer 4 in turn, that is, encapsulate with high temperature resistant silica gel;
(5) Finally, conduct the resistivity test on the off-the-shelf NTC thermistor.
